The seventh largest city in the Bay Area, Sunnyvale is both a high-tech industry center and a sanctuary of quiet residential neighborhoods. Both enjoy the services, programs and facilities that make Sunnyvale a comfortable place to live and do business. And the city’s Department of Public Safety, which integrates police, fire and emergency response, has kept Sunnyvale ranked at the top of the nation’s safest cities.
